About Diagonal:

We are a data science consultancy, powered by our software. Our products are built for data science in the urban environment, to help understand the consequences of changes to our cities’ systems. We specialise in understanding large data and sensitive data. Our products unlock creativity, progress and better decisions in urban planning.

How we work is important to us. We work to uphold the right to the city, and approach projects with openness and transparency. We are making our software open source because we believe it is important that planning decisions don’t happen in a black-box.

Diagonal is a steward-owned company, which means we’re legally bound to both our mission and employee control in perpetuity. We are a startup that believes in sustainable growth. You can read our company charter here: diagonal.works/charter.

  • Creating marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and other collateral, that effectively communicate the software’s value proposition to public authority clients.

  • Contributing to the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns, to ensure a consistent and effective message is delivered to clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
